Your Responsibilities

• You ensure structured and effective collaboration between our portfolio startups and the business units of our anchor investor, Drees & Sommer.

• You own the operational execution of our Co-Creation Program as a pre-seed format with early-stage founders.

• You design and facilitate workshops between startups and business units to define pilots, roadmaps, and next implementation steps.

• You identify internal sponsors and ensure relevant startup solutions gain traction within the organization.

• You build and maintain strong relationships within the venture ecosystem, including VCs, accelerators, universities, and strategic partners.

• You manage interactions with the venture ecosystem, prioritize external inquiries, and leverage our startup funnel to address internal needs.

• You represent The Bau Ventures externally and organize selected formats such as Demo Days or Innovation Deep Dives.

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience (3–5+ years) in venture capital, corporate venturing, venture building, or consulting

• Strong ability to bridge startup dynamics and corporate structures

• Structured, process-oriented working style with a strong bias toward execution

• Experience managing multiple parallel initiatives and stakeholder groups

• Excellent German skills (business fluent) and fluent English

• A hands-on, pragmatic mindset with a high level of ownership

• Interest in PropTech, ConTech, or the real estate and construction industry is a plus
